Microchipping

Microchipping is the easiest way of returning a lost dog or cat to you quickly and easily. It also determines legal ownership and is very important in rescue animals.

It is a simple and quick procedure. The needle is large (to get the chip under the skin), but your puppy or kitten will forget quickly especially with a quick cuddle and a liver treat.

The microchip form is then faxed through to Central Animal Records and has lifetime registration. If your pet escapes and ends up at a vet clinic or animal shelter, they will scan them, take note of the number and retrieve your details to contact you.

It is very important to update your details with the microchip company if you change address.
