Consultations

 

Unless your pet's problem is an emergency, you will need to have a pre-booked consultation to be seen by one of our vets. We have two vets consulting throughout the day in 15 minute increments. To make sure there is a vet available for you, and to prevent you from waiting too long to be seen, please call to arrange an appointment time.

   

We consult every weekday 9am - 6.30pm and Saturday mornings 9am - 12pm. Saturday afternoon (12pm - 4pm) and Sundays (10am - 3pm) consultations incur a surcharge and consultations outside of these times are considered after-hours. We are available at all hours for emergency consultations.

 

Consultations cover everything to do with your pet, from annual vaccinations/health checks, nail clips, arthritis management, or the "my pet is just not right" dilemma. Depending on the nature of your consultation, the vet will discuss options on further work up (blood testing, x-rays etc), dispense medications or advise you on dietary/behavioural options. We are also happy to see your pets for a second opinion (please bring current medications and the history from your previous vet) or refer you on to a specialist as the need dictates.
